1. Who we are

Ge·on, Inc. is a Delaware corporation with its registered office at the address given on our contact page. Where these terms say "we", "us" or "Ge·on", they mean that company.

2. The closed beta

The beta is invite-only, free, and offered as-is. It's pre-release software, so features may change or be withdrawn and it may be unavailable at times.

We may end your access, or the beta itself, at any time. Where we do, we will give you reasonable notice and a way to export your content and memories unless we are legally prevented from doing so.

3. Your account

You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your sign-in link and credentials to yourself. Tell us promptly at the address below if you believe someone else has gained access.

You must be at least 18 and must not be barred from using our services under applicable law.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you bring to Ge·on and everything published through it. You grant us a license to host, process and transmit that content strictly to operate the service for you. That means generating a draft, running a safety check, and publishing an approved post to a destination you connected.

We do not use your content or your memories to train shared models, and we do not pool them with other customers' material.

5. Publishing and approval

Ge·on drafts content; a person approves it. Nothing is published to a connected destination without an approval and a consent recorded against that exact version and those exact destinations.

You remain responsible for what you approve. You are responsible for complying with the terms of any third-party platform you connect, including Meta's, and for holding the rights to anything you publish.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use Ge·on to produce or publish content that is unlawful, that harasses or endangers people, that impersonates someone, that infringes intellectual property, or that is designed to deceive people about who is speaking.

Do not attempt to circumvent the approval gate, the safety screening, the spend caps, or the isolation between communities. Do not probe, scan or load-test the service without our written permission.

7. Third-party services

Ge·on connects to services we do not control, including Meta's platforms and the model providers behind drafting and image generation. Your use of those services is governed by their terms, and their availability is not something we can guarantee.

8. Availability and support

During the beta we offer no uptime commitment. We aim to answer support requests within one business day and will tell you about planned interruptions where we can.

9. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Generated content may be inaccurate. It's drafted, not verified. The approval step exists because a person has to check it.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data.

Because the beta is provided free of charge, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to it is limited to one hundred US dollars (US$100).

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Where a change is material we will tell beta participants by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The state and federal courts located in Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction, and both parties consent to that jurisdiction.
